What's new?

FAQ

What is Netflix's AI Discover tab?

It is a new tab in Netflix's TV app that shows AI-powered recommendations based on themes such as 'Something Light' or 'Family Movie Night,' and lets viewers flag recommendations they do not like so the system can learn.

How does AI Discover differ from Netflix's existing recommendation system?

The existing system relies largely on viewing history and ratings, while AI Discover adds an intelligence layer that responds to viewer feedback in real time and builds suggestions around themes rather than only traditional rows.

Will MENA viewers benefit from this feature?

If the feature reaches the region, it could make it easier to discover Arabic or dubbed content within themes like 'Quick Watches' or 'Family Movie Night.' However, Netflix has not announced a global rollout date or Arabic-language support for the feature.

Is AI Discover available to all users now?

No. Netflix describes it as an early experiment within a new tab, and it is likely to start with a limited set of users before expanding.
